Death's First Love
She lives in hell
but sings like an angel.
A curse and a blessing
her pain was natural.
Young and wise,
uncommonly,
but poor crying child
wishes for naivety.
Now as she kisses her blade
she bids thee fare well.
There were so many stories
she had left to tell.
But sorrow upon sorrow
sent her to hell.
A swift fluid movement
across pristine skin.
Come on pain, wash away her sin.
Down the length of her arm
wine pours for the devil
and he drinks like a drunkard
while tainting her soul.
Her eyes close
and she breathes her last breathe.
With a smile so joyful,
she finally greets death.
He smiles at her with his handsome grin.
He reaches for her hand,
and turns her towards him.
Embracing his new ruptured queen
he looks into her eyes and gasps
at the scene.
Laid in her eyes was both sorrow and pain
her history was unique and
dead beauty never was vain.
She tried so hard to be happy
you see.
She tried to hard to breathe,
not to bleed.
But with each breathe,
she coughed out disease.
depression had overcame her
and brought her to her knees.
Death clad dead teen in a gown of cobwebs.
He put a tiara upon her silken head.
He took sorrowed daughter
and asked her to dance,
Death fell in love with her with that glance.
They waltzed and they twirled
around the ballroom at night
and death kissed gowned mistress
heart full of fright.
But if you kiss the lips of an angel
you must pay the consequences of hell;
The suicidal girl woke from death
not remembering him at all.
