What if
What if
The sun rose from the west
The stars lived on mountain crests
The flowers bloomed in winters nest
And we could fly, as birds flew
Knowing how it felt to lay at rest .
What if
The sea has a different shade
Animals were to humans grade
Snow fell in hot summer's shade
And there was nothing greener than
A grasses blade.
What if
You really loved me
The way I had loved you?
Difficult to say
Why you went away
Still remember the day.
What if
We were born again
Life were to be just the same
Would we still continue playing
The same old games?
Or keep calling our names.
Hard to say.
What if
There was no right or wrong
Only melody and song
Being where we belong
With truth keeping us strong.
Having all that's still left.
Then life would be perfect.
