What I Know
A broken heart is a beautiful, ugly mixture of pain and blood from all of the shards left behind.
It sounds like delicate crystal glass shattering against cold, hard pavement...unforgiving.
It tastes like burning acid dripping on your tongue, bitter and sharp, burning everything alive.
It smells like a hospital, full of intoxicating bleach, combined with the rot of sickness and death, trying to hide the tragedies.
A broken heart...feels like a hollow dead weight in your chest.
Somehow still pumping to keep you alive.
