of what's going on
some may know bits and pieces
of what's really going on
but the only time we may know it all
is in that last breath we take before we pass on

I love the way it kind of staggers off towards the end...just like the last minutes of life. And there's something fucking great about how you give that 'everything' a line to itself. Your mind is full of incisive gems :]

wow, i like this poem seems like your talking about in life how we are blind and the only thing we see is whats in front of us, even if it is not real but when we are dying we see the whole perspective of living. very nice.

its quite possible like they say your whole life flashes before you eyes the moment you die.. we see our whole life and sum it up in our mind (or soul at that time) and perhaps see even more.. underneath the surface of life into other dimensions.. could be could be

The finale is fucking amazing, in a quiet yet profound sort of way. I imagine a man, on the verge of dying, suddenly gasping as the truth is revealed, his mouth wide open and his eyes both alert, before falling away into death.

eyes wide and alert before they glaze over and he is empty.. final pull of that life giving breath before he shuts down entirely.. and leaves this place.. to find out what comes next.. as all of us wonder.. what did he see in that final moment
