And prickled veins are sprouting manes
Of sodden blood
To scare you. 

It has a thousand eyes, I guess.
And another thousand fangs,
Hid behind the wrinkles of
Another thousand shrivelled lips. 

Habitat:
City jungle,
Species’ diet, mainly fungal;
With a dashing of souls – smashing.
This godless meal
Has powder appeal. 

It lurks around at night, it does.
And eats your kids, right from their beds.
And it will eat your homes and cars.
And eat your British, National Pride.

Do not threat,
