Sympathy From the Enemy

Allow me to introduce myself
I'm sure you have heard what I'm about
It is advised you not take me lightly
I will take your life without a doubt

My nature is not friendly
to many it may seem
Enjoy a day in my company
and you might not wake from the dream

Voluntarily you will serve me
in hopes for just a little taste
If you are lucky I might spare you
and leave your mind to waste

The lucky ones are still living
Many others have become slaves
Visit a local cemetery
and find others who tried to be brave

Take this advice as a warning
Get out while you still can
Please do not ignore me
or you will wish you would have ran

Like I said before I'm not friendly
I hope I have gotten through
Believe me when I say it
Only God can save you

Now you are presented
with one of two decisions to make
Pray to your God for forgiveness
or prepare for my hand to take
