Ebb and Soar at the Middle School Poetry Read Off
some choke some garble some gulp some fly
all in the eye of such beautiful souls' cries
the plastic trees lit up in such glory
the Poetry Night sign sparkles
all with white flickering and solid Christmas lights
not just children
triumphant spirits ready for take off
into the everlasting wondrous what's next
question for stuttering fear of the audience
some entities catch a glimpse of fantastic hoorah
all these souls destined for the lovingly static
oh G*d
