she said it with such a force
that it trembled the earth around me
and it made the bricks in the house shatter
and all the fractured walls tore the wall paper
into mosaic pictures of a garden

I nearly broke
in every sense but
i just sipped at my drink
and then as expected
he kissed her
and thats when
i skulled it
and left
wishing i kissed
her instead.
