Glitter.

I wanna tell this girl.
It's just killing me.
She's just killing me.
Her eye's cut like a new sharpened blade.
She has a dream.
But she can't handle rejection.
She always gets what she wants.
There's no way she's got what it takes.
Got what it takes to walk this world alone.
But she'll never know, I know this.
I picture her heart tasting sweet with a hint of salt and pepper.
She turns the pages back in her book.
But it will never take her back to those times.
Those moment's.
That night.
They fade before her eye's.
You see, she has a issue.
With needing to feel wanted.
Loved.
Adored.
Feared.
She's had better days.
But it only gets worse for this pretty young lady.
She loves to tear hearts apart.
And watch the glitter flow out.
But if you ever ripped her heart open.
It wouldn't be like an open wound.
It would be hard, cold.
And start melting in your hand.
