Keep it in check
Don't overcook
keep it simmering for now
To boil over to come
You're moment to shout
Will arrive in time.
Link hearts and minds
Become one within
Dont sugarcoat the feelings
Eventual happiness is on the way
Hand in hand is the easy part
To want everything we wish for,
A rough road we will have to travel.
No punches pulled
To achieve we will
with eye's wide open
No surprises awaiting
An equal footing starting together
A promise I give my baby
That all we desire will eventually come true.

gotta have a equal footing in any given relationship, Though some, Mainly men usually want to take the lead, i find being equal from the start regardless of age or gender makes for a good platform for a loving relationship, my parents just celebrated their 50th year in marriage by doing just this, plus dont row or argue usually helps too lol. though this is just my thinking on this subject.
