Nigger or Moon Cricket...which do you perfer

I was reminded the other day that most people are what they eat  
   
So it shouldn't surprise me when they write, text or speak  
   
In particular; of things they know nothing about  
   
Hence the term moon cricket being thrown about  
   
I'm too tried to sit at lunch counters and/or turn the other cheek  
   
Me doing something grimy to you comes as easy as say... sleep  
   
So instead I'll try to enlighten... that's the least I can do  
   
I'd like you to walk in my footsteps...try on a pair of my shoes  
   
I'm not nor should I be called points six of a man, burnt match or cocolo  
   
Not naga, antique farm equipment or Ni-Ni  
   
Not yard ape, snigger or butter  
   
Not jungle bunny, silver back or BUN  
   
Not kala, mayate or boffer  
   
Brillo Pad, Boot lip or Jr. mint don't define me or my features  
   
My name isn't J.J, Cornelius, Carlton, Buckwheat, chief or captain  
   
Treat me with the same respect that I show you  
   
That's all I ask...is that too hard to do?
