Apprehensive Butterfly

She is what you'd call
A walking irony,
All smiles but zero confidence.

Her youthful ways entice
Crowds of unimaginable journeys
Yet she doesn't believe she is good enough.

Often she gives great advices
Offering comfort to others is her thing
She ever accepts them as her own.

She makes the world laugh
With her childish ways
Emotional scars linger and ever present.

You wouldn't know how much
She wants to forgive herself
But never has the courage to do so.

People appoach with great intentions
Skeptically wondering why would they bother
Forever declining with a polite smile.
