Blurred Focus

A blurred focus, through fractured
lens, is more than enough.
We still polish the glaze
lovingly.

A rising from the dust and
glass ashes is no miracle,
naught but a rebirth awaited
expectantly.

We gather the least favored
and stones grind their bones.
Molten truths harden
inevitably.

Nothing much remains
besides the stained votive
tokens, cracks abound
transparently.
