A harsh enlightenment
You carved your name into my flesh
and extracted every last ounce of pain I could offer
as I bled for you.
Your fingers left trailing bruises
on the most intimate parts of me,
where you pushed against and bound me
in your malicious selfishness.
You forced me to my knees
and devalued everything that I was
until I was twisted to suit your desires.
Yet it is only now,
as I nurse my wounds and damaged pride,
that I realize the depth of your depravity and cruelty;
you made me love you.
