Discovery is a Gift

In this life we have the ability to be whatever we want to be,
But in the next life we must be who we were meant to be.
It is then that we discover who we really are,
And what our greater purpose is in the past life.

It is a shame that we cannot discover who we were supposed to be in the current life,
For if we did it seems our lives may have been easier.
But it is also a good thing that we do not discover it now,
Or else we may try and not move on and have no greater reason.

So since we shall not know the real reason why our lives have purpose until death,
Live your life and be kind for this is the life you have been given.
Remember it is a gift that we have the ability to live this life,
Not a right for us to hold out our hands and expect it to be perfect.
