Clasping Glass
I feel it dripping in my chest
My heart is beating itself to death
Searching forever for what it’s losing
From the inside out my heart is oozing
Leaving creases in my hidden palm
And rapid breathing in my lungs
Tears streaming , landing neatly
But in my own head I feel I’m drowning
It wasn’t him, But them who broke my heart
They wanted us to stay apart
But If he can’t have me
No one can
This broken hearts like clasping glass
My heart is beating itself to death
Searching forever for what it’s losing
From the inside out my heart is oozing
Leaving creases in my hidden palm
And rapid breathing in my lungs
Tears streaming , landing neatly
But in my own head I feel I’m drowning
It wasn’t him, But them who broke my heart
They wanted us to stay apart
But If he can’t have me
No one can
This broken hearts like clasping glass
