Forgiveness

All through life we suffer pain
Tiz not through payback, that we gain
Is only with our self respect
To be the bigger one, and yet
Dispite the anger filled within
So easy sort, without the sin
To look the culprit in the eye
And say to them without a sigh
I forgive the things you do
For deep within, it is not you
It is the pain youve suffered past
Thats send my way for you to cast
I see the pain within your eyes
I feel at times youve said goodbyes
For all the pains you wish would heal
So deep within again youd feel
The love and joy a heart could bring
Moments when youd laugh and sing
It is still there, you have to find
Release the anger, painful bind
Give your cares out, shout them loud!
Stand up strong with faith, be proud
Not a coward, for forgiving
Just a chance at really living.
