Come The Carrion
Constant depression, where fear and hate feed
In such lonely moments, with a want and a need
with infinite seconds, that stretch into years
Down reflectionles face, fall invisible tears
look to the horizon, throw your eyes to the sky
Come the carrion calling, as you ask yourself why
Compose your own saga, where life falls into place
Then gone as a mirage, never leaving a trace
See her image in dreams, before fading from view
Hear her voice on the wind, as she's calling for you
as you scream for her help, from the blackest of night
Feel her hand reaching out, to make lighter your plight
As fingers touch fingers, in this recurring dance
Then dissolve into nothing, leaving slip your last chance
You shall wake from this nightmare, from this perilous game
With unshakeable knowledge, for tomorrow's the same...............
