Consumed by the Dark
In a dimly-lit corridor,
a young boys
dark angel stands
before him, beckoning
him, like a temptress,
with arms wide
open.
Clothed in absolute
vile, yet blessed
with a frame that evokes
images of a Greek
Goddess, she's
the hell-on-heels
who takes
as she pleases.
Her eyes are
the window to
his soul, and
her heart is the place
where he takes refuge,
oblivious to the fact
that her motives are
not sincere.
He's tried to regret
admiring her, yet
he cannot seem to
force himself to be
that hypocritical,
even in his own
mind.
So he decides to ignore
this feeling, wiping her from
his conscious memory,
and denying any scope
to influence his behavior,
but all that does is make
him even more tense and
flustered, as if he is
constantly at war with
himself, his true inclinations...
There's no polarity,
she is the bad that
eradicates all good.
All he ever wanted
was to live inside
her. To feed off the
breasts that gives
nourishment, and
be comforted by her
Gossamer Wings.
She leads, he
follows, they
both walk with
shadows.
Choosing not to
reminisce the pain
of being torn by both worlds,
he lingers behind as though he's
some lost servant,
in search of his rightful
master.
Upon arrival, she stops,
turns, then swallows
him with her warm embrace.
"Welcome home, child."
He dared to venture, and his
helpless soul was preyed upon.
Countless down, scores to go.
The darkness strikes again.
