Rakes, Part Two

* Really think he hears our plead?
^ It's these suits i bought, of the finest tweed!
* A bit on suits, most on weed...
^ Never mind that now!
* So why's the judge wear no pants?
 He seems to be a bit undone.
 What's with all the incense and chants?
 Why's he got a gun?
^ Hush, you fool!
* C'mon, now he's doin' a lil dance!
^ Crazy?
 Yes,
 But around these parts
 He's thought the wisest man that's been.
 The streets teem with his sycophants;
 He's never bought a gin.
 Hold your tongue,
 Show respect
 Or our asses in the bin!

# And so,
 My boys of faces pure,
 But hearts of not but vices;
 Who've come to town wearing crowns,
 With gems for all the lasses.
 You've met your wants and had your fun;
 Now your judgment passes.

 Your youth you've spent running free,
 For that, congratulations.
 Your age, in stone, 'hind lock and key,
 To starve your ill temptations.
 For you, my boys, eternity,
 With no hope of probation.
