"7" Deadly Sins
There was once a tale unheard of,untold. "Heritic" "Blasphemer" "Devils work" People yelled from the tops of their lungs, as the truth began to unfold.
Pride:
a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.
A sin in its own right, one that many suffer from without the simple recognition that in the your own self righteous way you may just be writing your own name in the book of life as the worst sinner of all. To self absorbed to acknowlegde the flaws that you bear before you make that unforgivable fall.
Wrath:
a strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence aroused by a wrong; wrath; ire.
To a condemned soul this would seem petty. However for those who can not control onces actions and inhibitons, consequences bare much weight. Fueling the rage that one behest in a standing of uncertainty can make one heady.
Envy:
a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions, etc.
Why do you garner what does not belong to you? Look at what you possess and have achieved and one thing is true... The look of Green does not bode well with you.
Gluttony:
excessive eating and drinking.
Your insatiable appetite seems to be what will comdemn your soul. To be as though your hunger will never be curbed, can deny you the most divine hold. Could one survive the eternal denial of their existence.
Greed:
excessive or rapacious desire, especially for wealth or possessions.
Shall you drown in your riches? Being consumed by something that can not save your soul on condemn it, speaks volumes. Does your own wealth sustain you or will you look to divine and holy riches?
Sloth:
habitual disinclination to exertion; indolence; laziness.
In one's mind this is nothing more than a grievance.Yet if not addressed and changed one may have to bear great penitence. We as a people all suffer from this.
Lust:
intense sexual desire or appetite.
uncontrolled or illicit sexual desire or appetite; lecherousness.
a passionate or overmastering desire or craving (usually followed by for ): a lust for power.
ardent enthusiasm; zest; relish: an enviable lust for life.
Obsolete .
pleasure or delight.
desire; inclination; wish.
Purity no longer the plight of most, stimulating this maybe. The ideal of looking upon one's flesh with a heighten sense of well being. The senses set ablaze with insatiable desire and wanting, for bliss in no more that a impetulant thought. The taste of her flesh, the feel of his lips, Her wantonness, his willingness. What is one to do with this uncontrollable desire.
There is one sin that is not talked about, Treachery.
Treachery:
violation of faith; betrayal of trust; treason.
an act of perfidy, faithlessness, or treason.
Lies, deceit, manipulation all for the gratification of one's self. The lowest of the low, forgivable but never forgetable. The icy casism of loneliness and betrayal is vast and deep, the abyss of those unchanging.
Beware of your deeds, words, thoughts. For they may be your damnation as well as your salvation. Everyday we live with these atrocities, but is this just another ploy for Manipulation. Sinisterly he laughs, as he watches. Where does your allegience and soul belong?
