Alexipharmic
Alexipharmik,
or the forgetter in the tower////
[ alexipharmic in the morning
t' make the Sunlight smooth and warming,
uh-lek-suh-FAHR-mik in the evening
to speed time away forever ]
We who art gathered here today !
in our victim-hood /and coats of perpetual adolescence ;
we who art shriveled askew/ skewered feverish upon
the octagonal earth
who art bastards of the bedlam heart
( /who art a real damn drum of a skull mmhmm)
str'tchdttt over the black hours spent
at dagger point 'til near kisstt
the lips of carrion dawn mmmhmm.
( Oh did ye forget O forgetful ye?)
/Regretfully...regretfully o ye
bound to jilt in silt / and go grinning in iron masks and spinning
such a confusion of tongues
((warms the cockles of my gun it does oh ye )
stiffened in onyx and fitting indeed ill-fitting
between the coil of mandrakes which twist
'twixt shadow and crimson light, she become my wings
t' swerve we wayward thru the baldfacedt night.
( but sublimation is not sublime!
and life much more, [egads!]
than subliminal tricks of mind ! )
went down zoo musik way/ wheres we stray and say and say
bend'tt quick to wreck n roll my brain!
for I do not care to know nor dream again !
so ssh-s-sh-s-shake yer head oh ye
but dig that I am an angel too,
fallen from doubtless Babel high
and blind perhaps in three eyes
- and yet and yet- -
(-– one can always shoo shoo shoot
straight 'nuff, he means,
fer devilish means, he means.... )
being to trip ev'ry step the way
with all subtlety and fine grace
o'course o;course
( &CCCCCCC how he give good sheen, good head, good face?)
…...and woke starcrossedt and seaward ever
&&dug a hole in the vein
from here to Mars or wherever
O easy peasy as you please young sir,
& backedt my car hither
right up the stairs I did,,,, and held you there
'til I felts no further pulse,
or blame, nor pain, or aught else -------
- and hence left the body hence/
to drift drift amongst the stars
and avarice scope of measureless sky that once was ours .
