Heroins a Bitch

In the building where I live
There a woman named Jessica
She’s a 30 year old welfare case
Who is fond of the needle and feens the hot pipe
Where she is from is not known
Chances are it’s not far from where she is now
The small town of Waymart PA where 90% of the populations are closet addicts who gossip and look down upon the 10% who let it be known
One night as she was vomiting on the stoop below
She said “all I wanted to be was a ballerina”
Long way from her dream as she scrounged money for the rock
Do to her money situation she only managed to smoke pebbles
With faith that someday her ship would come in carrying a giant boulder with enough power to burn her out of her misery
I figure her death will come without reason
Without meaning
Probably her deadly friend heroin
Or possibly the monster
There’s nothing she wouldn’t do to feed the itch
