This Prison Of Mirrors
I was trapped within this prison of mirrors
I could no longer claim immortality through sacrifice
I had forgotten the sensation of the sun whispering into my heart
I had forgotten the moon's name, His purpose was my home
I was trapped within my distorted reflection
I could no longer hold the knowledge I had worked endlessly to contain
I had remembered only pain, Anguish, My afflictions
I had remembered only twisted memories of a time once forgiven
I was withering away under the blinding light from my incrimination
I could no longer hold my heart in my chest, The blood was escaping
I had weakened myself beyond repair, Beyond recognition
I had weakened the ground I had stood upon, Erosion through rage
