"I still see you"

 I still see you in my dreams even though you're gone , it must mean my conscious is telling me it's still hard to move on ~ The day you left my life became a mess , leaving me stuck in denial which created emptiness ~ I carried your body but your soul was gone leaving it hallow , just a shell in the ground one tough pill to swallow ~ Why did you have to leave without saying goodbye , I look up at the sky and wonder why did you really have to die ~ I cried hard that day and i'm crying still , I suppose until the day I die I always will ~ I see you in my dreams and I try to stay asleep , but it brings back that horror when I awake leaving me to weep ~ Wish I had some closure for that day when you went away , cause my dreams won't let me tell you what I really have to say ~ This hole inside me hasn't closed a bit in time , this wound will not heal it still hurts deep inside ~ It's been 7 years I can't believe it's been that long , but I still see you in my dreams even though you're gone ~ B.
