The Barista Poem

Hello,
good morning
the sun shines bright
hello good evening,
hope your days been fine

can I help you,
can I pour a filter
or would you like my friend
to handcraft a late,
or maybe a cappucino
and might I just introduce you
to our lovely frappucino
(perfect for the summer sir)

Cause I'm your friendly barista
I always wear a smile,
its all part of the uniform,
I go that extra mile,

now can I offer you a syrup
or some lovely whipped cream
if you have a card sir
the extras are all free
your looking a little tired
might i suggest an extra shot
and if your feeling cold
we'll make it extra hot

Cause I'm your friendly barista,
and your the one in the lead
if your not happy with me
I'll gladly take my leave

Now would you like an accompliment
savory or sweet
so much stuff on offer
your really spoilt for choice
granola bars are nutritious
cinnamon swirls divine
and if your feeling naughty
our chocolate cake will do just fine

cause I'm your friendly barista
trained and armed with data
to help you receive
the drink you were always after

Now its almost over,
our time is almost done,
I hate for you to leave me
but your drink is at the end
I hope you like your drink sir,
hope you have a nice day
but most of all I hope
you won't stay away

cause I'm your friendly barista,
I love to wear a smile
your happiness
makes it all worthwhile

and now i say goodbye
as i watch you walk away
but I don't have time for sorrow
as I turn to the next person and say
Hello good morning,
isn't it a lovely day...
