Dreams

I dream of silver stars
That float in the sea
That glitter and shimmer
And wink at me

I dream of a friend
So bright and so true
That sits and listens
And comforts you

I dream of blue eyes
That see through my soul
That share the secrets
That I will hold

I dream of a man
Who smiles when he's sad
With the gentle touch
Of a wonderful dad

this is a great poem, in particular "blue eyes that see through you soul that share the secrets that I will hold," reminds me how it is our souls that see and feel one another, not just our bodies...and the last stanza gives a sense of hope for the future, in balance with the past...really, i like this poem very much!
