You Can't Give Up

This world is cruel, full of evil and harmful things, dangerous
But we stand it, live it, go with it, be it
We can't give up, stay strong, live the lessons that this life has to give
We all have that secret place, the one get away, that one special place
No matter if it is shared with a group, or you are all on your own
Take a stand, we can't always be alone, grab someones hand, help them up

It's not just you, there's someone out there for you, just like you, but not exactly the same, who wants someone like you
Never stand alone, take a stand, grab a hand, start a new life together, helping each other
Life is never going to be easy, so do your best, make your life yours, be in control

Lay in the snow and watch it fall, no one is the same, just as the snow falls to the earth, you are here now
You can't give up, you only stay here so long, so make that time show, show that you tried, that it was worth it
Lay on the soft grass, look up to the sky and see the light, shining down on all, do the same, make a difference
You can't give up, you only get one chance, learn the moves, and make life a dance for all
Lay atop the ocean, floating, relaxed, be on top, never fall down
You can't give up, you are on the top, stay strong and stay afloat, give up and you'll fall
Lay on the sand, the desert land, hot and plentiful, showing that to be strong, you'll get through it safe and sound
You can't give up, lay there and think, then walk the steps for miles, making you stronger, so you stand tall

You fall to the ground, afraid you have nothing left, yet you can't give up, you just can't
Take your time, be the one, stand so tall, you see them all
Never let them bring you down, there's going to be haters, there's going to be your lovers, stay positive
Just know that every one wants to know that someone cares, and for every person, there's someone who loves you

Your walking around fire, one wrong step and you'll fall, learn from your past, make the better for the future
Take your steps, walk through water, knee deep in problems, but always fix them, to help your mind
Grab a hand, take them with you, one by one, every knows their not alone
Years go by, and the stronger you become, the memories made, keeps you going
You wait and wait, patiently for more to come, help them up, let them know they are not alone

Help even more, knowing you are happy, happy with others joining by your hand
One day you'll find that one, one that stands with you, joins you, lives with you as others come and go
The one you share memories of everything together, helping each other stand, keeping each others hand
You can't give up, once they have come, your spirit is an immortal memory of life and happiness
You can't give up, grab a hand, stand on land, know that everything you have done, makes a difference
