Our world

People stealing for no more than joy,
bosses fire those too long employed,
politicians lie for the sake of their fame,
we kill and destroy and all that in gods name.

Lies and lies and even more lies,
in every corner of the world someone dies,
we don't care, we have other things to do.
Should I buy this shirt in black or in blue?

We laugh at others and we think we are better,
while we backstab we still talk about the weather
as if there was nothing wrong with doing so.
We started so high and will end so low.

They believe that the world is going to end,
we will not even have a chance to defend,
so why don't we kill everything we don't need?
Let's end our lives with a week full of greed.
