Lost Letter In Time
I don't know him anymore
I've washed up onto the shore
Of an uninhabited island
And I don't know where to go
I never cared where the stars were
Because he was always my way home
If I could tuck myself inside of you
I'd never let go
I've written millions of poems
But they're lost in time
Lost in my mind
Trying to find the word or rhyme
But there isn't a word
For the feeling pumping through my veins
My heart is threatening to burst
For the smile that only exist when I'm with you,
Hurts
I've washed up onto the shore
Of an uninhabited island
And I don't know where to go
I never cared where the stars were
Because he was always my way home
If I could tuck myself inside of you
I'd never let go
I've written millions of poems
But they're lost in time
Lost in my mind
Trying to find the word or rhyme
But there isn't a word
For the feeling pumping through my veins
My heart is threatening to burst
For the smile that only exist when I'm with you,
Hurts
