Forest Town
Winds pass by this forest town
Red vained foliage in it's grips
Dancing in flight until it trips
Onto the floor as a wonderous gown
Dressed for the seasonal passage
Into a blooming springtime marriage
Birds pass by this forest town
In flocks of many or a few
Gliding on a backdrop of blue
Eyes from the sky peering down
Scanning for a familiar home
Where they can live and gaily roam
Stars pass by this forest town
Gleaming over the blackened landscape
Leaving the endless void agape
With naught but a sparkling crown
A heavenly aesthetic for this race
To ponder the mystery of distant space
Lovers pass by this forest town
sweetly singing to each other
Benevolent voices left to smother
All the sadness and untimely frowns
This gift of life is all we have
Let natures beauty be your salve
Red vained foliage in it's grips
Dancing in flight until it trips
Onto the floor as a wonderous gown
Dressed for the seasonal passage
Into a blooming springtime marriage
Birds pass by this forest town
In flocks of many or a few
Gliding on a backdrop of blue
Eyes from the sky peering down
Scanning for a familiar home
Where they can live and gaily roam
Stars pass by this forest town
Gleaming over the blackened landscape
Leaving the endless void agape
With naught but a sparkling crown
A heavenly aesthetic for this race
To ponder the mystery of distant space
Lovers pass by this forest town
sweetly singing to each other
Benevolent voices left to smother
All the sadness and untimely frowns
This gift of life is all we have
Let natures beauty be your salve
