Forgettable Statue
Unmoveable, unbreathable, but surely alive
You seek me in your time of need
When your sorrows are to much, to deep
Your thoughts too loud for your own ears
Emotions you know nothing of
You seek me when you're in need of peace
You shed tears for me that you dont what others to see
You speak to me just to hear your own voice cause you know I shall listen
My shoulders brace you and hold you high
My Words tell you no lies
My heart makes yours shine brighter
But when your light has return, you send me back to darkness
I've then, once again become your forgettable
You know my feet are made of lead
So when you walk away you feel no need to look back
Because when you need your strenght again
You shall return to me...
Yet you forget that those shoulders that bare everyone elses weight, bares her own
Yet you forget that I too, enjoy hearing truths instead of lies
You forget that I too, have a heart
You forget to stop and look to see if the light has dimmed
Or to see if I am in need of peace,
or in the need to shed tears or to hear my own cries
For I am statue, for all who needs me
And I am always there
Unmoving, sacrificing, and solid
Made of stone, marble, rock, cement to bare such harsh weathers
To look as though Im unbreakable
And when the sun sets on another day
No one has stop to see the cracks in my heart growing daily
Yet I am still forgettable...
Until next time.....
Though by then since you never looked closely enough, I've vanished with the wind
Will I then still be forgettable???
You seek me in your time of need
When your sorrows are to much, to deep
Your thoughts too loud for your own ears
Emotions you know nothing of
You seek me when you're in need of peace
You shed tears for me that you dont what others to see
You speak to me just to hear your own voice cause you know I shall listen
