None are so bold as to say  
That faith will dawn upon a better day  
Captive fulfillment escapes one's salvation  
 
None are so bold as to see  
That tears of grief rain down hard upon thee  
Past efforts are welcomed by a torn sunrise  
 
None are so bold as to feel  
That true passion is painfully unreal  
Hearts of gold glide across skies of honor
 
None are so bold as to hear  
Cries of truth approaching ever so near  
The wrong dispels the presence of the right  
 
None are so bold as to caress  
Feelings denied of the chance to progress  
Reason has lost control of its creative edge  
 
None are so bold as to sense  
The will of life to discard innocence  
A cleansed soul lies dormant this season  
 
None are so bold as to believe  
That faith heals the wounds of those who deceive  
Time casts a shadow on my intimate reality  
 
None are so bold as to know  
That hope remains the refuge for sorrow  
 
For only the truly bold may face lives untold
