Strange Trucks
a most disconcerting trend
like hybrid insects
forever mutating
Grab attention
with unusual mating
evade deflection
sting so irritating
prone to infection
Through fast-forward generating
They secrete toxins
Evolutionarily outpacing
Our bodies ability to fight them

Anyways.......

Strange Trucks
slowly invading
you dont notice it much
as they infiltrate at snails pace
instigate a feeling you've lost touch
Similar to putting off a date
to visit with loved ones
get together on the next holiday
its uncomfortable how much kids have grown
Unfamiliar now, they`ve made their escape
from playful putty to politely disengaged stone

Strange Trucks
need I go on?
They come from somewhere
with purpose unknown
Their beds re~fit
for some mis-shapen cargo
unmarked exteriors
with lord-knows-what in their hold
clog local traffic
takes so long to get home
Precious moments stolen
from getting a grip on this world
