Look At Me
I find myself watching you when you are not looking
Sometimes you can feel my eyes wash over you
When you try to catch me gazing
I quickly divert my stare as to not alarm you
My imagination goes to a place where we are together
Imagining what your skin feels like underneath my fingers
Also trying to get a sense of what the nape of your neck smells like
Wondering if your hands would compliment the contours of my face
Would you yearn for me with all of your might
That is where my mind goes with each passing sight
My inner emotions pulling at your attention, hoping one day
you could read my intentions
Wishing that you would pull back the curtains to my feelings
Invite me in to what I have grown to covet, what I've grown to desire, what I lose sleep over.
You never catch me looking at you, but if you did, would it matter...
