Addicted
To the pain
That accompanies the blade
Satisfied
With the distraction
Sufficing the tempest of emotions
Addicted
To the incision
With the blood that follows
Satisfied
When the reminder
Glowers angrily from my skin
Addicted
To the wound
Knowing it will create another scar
Satisfied
When the seam
Stitches itself togeter leaving a memento

Deep. I like how you interchanged "addicted" and "satisfied". I think it makes it that much more meaningful.
