As Deep as I Can

She wants to know
if I'll go all the way,
and I ask her,
"Why stop there
when we can go deeper?"

"Sure, you can have a place
on the pantheon of lust
taking it all
and spreading the joy,
but why stop there
when right
around the corner,
is a place that's so deep
the sink holes whisper.

She says she can do that
but first she wants to shower,
and I say, "Oh, that; sure,
I can go there
if all you want is feeling Nirvana,
though I had in mind
a breath of rare air."

"Oh, I like doing that," says she,
"and can be quite sumptuous
with lips like cherries
and cherub surprise."

"Oh, I like that,
and I am more than quite willing,
yet still I had more
and by the look in your eyes,
you're still not there
with the depth of my meaning,
so let me just say it
and save the disguise.

I want in your head,
way past your bed,
and deeper and deeper than lies;
to know you complete,
and feel your heart keep.
and know what you live
for as spies.

To see what you do
but more what you think
but deeper just how do you feel
when things are all under
and you start to wonder
is it this
or that
that defies.
