Crash
lost
inky blackness
no one knew where I was
I didn't know where I was
couldn't see
couldn't hear
not really,
only the metallic taste
stuck to my tongue
remembering...
seeing the bent metal frame
knowing...
hearing the crunch, an explosion
not understanding...
feeling the fire scorching and burning
never believing...
scents of fresh grass, rain and roses
paralyzed...
standing at your gravestone,
I still can't believe I survived
I still can't believe that you didn't
only remembering, that day
not seeing anything else
just replaying it over and over again
round and round my head
the crash
inky blackness
no one knew where I was
I didn't know where I was
couldn't see
couldn't hear
not really,
only the metallic taste
stuck to my tongue
remembering...
seeing the bent metal frame
knowing...
hearing the crunch, an explosion
not understanding...
feeling the fire scorching and burning
never believing...
scents of fresh grass, rain and roses
paralyzed...
standing at your gravestone,
I still can't believe I survived
I still can't believe that you didn't
only remembering, that day
not seeing anything else
just replaying it over and over again
round and round my head
the crash
