One Day I Had An Epiphany
I was the distance in-between
The reciprocation of something more
The falling rain that drenched the shore
The hole that drained the riverbed
I was the star surrounded by many
The only one who wanted so much more
I was the endless sea that kept on turning
Even the soul finds ways to bleed
Even the blood has a reason to run
Even the sun has a reason to keep on shining
Even my lonely stream longs to be whole
Even my being is forever turning
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
Turning over and over again
I was never uneasy
I turn corners like a river
Searching for something more
Turning over and over again
I was the wound that never healed
I was the boy who loved the simple things
Found beauty in all things shining
Spent my days lost in my wonderland
When I bled I saw another world
A unforeseen heaven that was mine
A dancing melody that reminded me who I am
A single tear that embraced another dream
Even the skin is not infinite
Everyone knows you grow old and grey
Another lonely day will always be on the horizon
But there is no dam in this river of life
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
Turning over and over again
I was never uneasy
I turn corners like a river
Searching for something more
Turning over and over again
You can see me living
You can see my heart breaking
But I can never turn the other cheek
But I can never turn the other cheek
My fingers are just pushing
Pushing open that cornerstone
Until I reach where I want to be
Turning over and over again
I know I won't be there anytime soon
Until then I shall remain incomplete
I am mindful with what I'm made for
I will be waiting, with arms held high
With every daybreak
I can feel my soul is rearranging
Running deep through my veins
Turning over and over again
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
I was never uneasy
Turning over and over again
I was never uneasy
I turn corners like a river
Searching for something more
Turning over and over again
You can see me living
You can see my heart breaking
But I can never turn the other cheek
But I can never turn the other cheek
The reciprocation of something more
The falling rain that drenched the shore
