Populations

Unsure if the word should be singular or plural,
Are the people in the urban areas less important than the rural?
The people of the world seem to be categorized by their skins,
Instead of the unique qualities we all possess within.
Question. Are there too many people living in the world today?
Or are there too many of the same? What would you say?
We have some nations just coping to survive,
And other nations that waste more than they need and hide.
Some nations set forth laws that limit the number of new births,
Wealthy ones, fertilize eggs, clone and have multiple babies of worth.
Poor nations endure famines, disasters, aids and strife,
Wealthy nations capitalize and provide “so-called” medicines for life.
Industrial nations seek to control the Populations of others,
Encourage their own to artificially inseminate future mothers.
If Populations are a problem, then why are some increasing their own?
Third World Nations set up to depend and their natural resources stolen.
Look at the food wasted and money foolishly spent in the “WEST”,
Is the “WEST” so-called “civilized”? Did they truly pass this test?
Populations, do we mean singular or plural? What do you think?
Include all when we count the people, we are all a part of the link.
