Escape

The blood rushes out of my body. I look down and see the knife. I look at you and try to scream but no words escape from my mouth. I never thought that you would do this. I never thought that you would even try. Bile rises in my throat, and my lungs feel like they are going to explode. I cough and gag until there is nothing left. No blood, no pain. My mouth feels dry. My stomach heaves one last time but nothing comes out. I lay there in that dark alleyway and try to put the pieces together. But nothing makes any sense. I dont remember what had happened. So I just lay there until my eyelids finally close and I am forever gone.
