Today the
character sleeps
Put away
like childish things
lost down
the back of the sofa
with the
dust ridden penny's
and the dis guarded
Bic bio pens.
Today
I’m going
to be a real person
I'm going to buy you a pint
and pay you to like me.
Everybody loves a character
Characters are safe
So today is the day
i am going to stop being a character
And be a real person.
We are all characters,
dancing in society's wake.
Today the

its hard to tell who is being real or fake today...its good to stand out and be your true self.

Agreed, it takes a while to find out who you truly are and longer to accept who you really are.

Right, characters we are, we change characters from time to time too. and ...lol....

Always useful with plenty of pens for a poet isnt it? Ive found coins from various countries in mine...lol

true they do come in handy if they work lol, i did find some penny's,a hard boiled sweet, and a dollar note once. great stuff.
