Breath By Breath

I remember her persona.
So peaceful and perfect.
She gave my existence a purpose.
She made life feel worth it.
Now she is gone.
Death ripped her away.
I pleaded with God everyday.
I begged to let her stay.
Life evicted her anyways.
Without her my world is done for.
An impending apocalypse lies in wait.
Emotions stir up inside me.
I'm full of pain and hate.
The best part of me was her.
I'm a puzzle without its piece.
She was the sun to my universe.
Now my light has ceased.
I'm an empty glove.
My sweet dove waits above.
I prepare for my long awaited reunion.
Breath by breath it gets nearer.
As darkness ensues I can see a bit clearer.
The day has finally come.
I'm done.
I wait for deaths warming embrace,
To take me to my desired place.
