A past flame, a past love
Is she really over me?
I once thought she was angel sent from above
Yet she tried to change me with her philosophy

Still I hear that she speaks my name
Always negative and demeaning
I never hurt her, I loved her dearly what a bloody shame
In her words people stop Believing

Will she ever find what she is looking for?
I'm not sure, but I wish her the best
She crushed and destroyed me, hitting rock bottom lying on the floor
I never knew why she did it, treating me like a pest

All she has done, I forgive her
Because I found someone special and new
In her mind did it ever occur?
That I'm over her and no longer blue

For all the wisdom, maturity she lacks
Only seeing what she wants to see
Always talking behind peoples backs
It does not effect me anymore, sadly she is like a ship lost at sea

I want her to find happiness and love
Even if she hates me forever
Because that's God's wish from above
From my heart and mind she will never sever

Mixing lies with truth
Never a solid plan
It never cures and it will never soothe
Shit always hits the fan

I may have done a few things wrong
But I'm not perfect either
Honesty and character will remain strong
At least I didn't deceive her
