Yellow Sky
Yellow Sky
Open up the amen
in my heart
Forward to the one word
Repeat one word
high pure and wild enough
to hold it all
I place my finger against
the blinds in my rented room
dialing up the darkness
Sitting on two pillows
from the small couch
Thought settles falls and rests
deep and inward
Natural as breath
Quiet like time
Now thought dissolves
Now dogs bark/
Breath rises and falls
The kinetic flows into something soft
pure centered stillness
I look outside at the yellow sky
A nameless melody now rising
from all these trees
Open up the amen
in my heart
Forward to the one word
Repeat one word
high pure and wild enough
to hold it all
I place my finger against
the blinds in my rented room
dialing up the darkness
Sitting on two pillows
from the small couch
Thought settles falls and rests
deep and inward
Natural as breath
Quiet like time
Now thought dissolves
Now dogs bark/
Breath rises and falls
The kinetic flows into something soft
pure centered stillness
I look outside at the yellow sky
A nameless melody now rising
from all these trees
