Left like shadows
Here I am comforted
By my white demon
Who holds my hand
With chaotic guidance
On my right shoulder
Is the angel in black
Casting a dark shadow
For my blindness
Can you feel the emptiness?
Looming in the edges of your soul
It tightens your senses when you're wrong
Recording sins you will hold
Cutting the softest areas
Testing the pain
Leaving you breathless
Spinning you insane
Flaking off humanity
Like a scab of dead flesh
Covering up your scars
To rip them open again
Bear the voices in your head
They'll break your soul in half
Remember you were born this way
The freak of humanity

Nevermind I see. You both, refers to the two halves of the broken soul mention in the preceding line.
I like how the demon is white representing light/guidance the path this person chose to follow. While the angel is in black and casting a shadow possibly the guilt or shame one feels of sinning and knowing its wrong. That was a good move for it defied the stereotypical color association. I like that you even matched the angel with the right which is stereotypical but it makes it understood that the stereotypical "righteous" path is not always chosen nor does it provide a beacon for everybody.
