Destined for Love?

I want to be loved
I want somebody to hold me
and kiss me and tell me
how beautiful I am
I want somebody to love me
not for my looks, but for personality
i want to expirience things
things that I've never done before
I want to know what real love feels like
I want to know, i truly do
I dont want something like any other couple
only something between me and you
nothing that can be duplicated
something that is rare
nothing to cause jealousy
just love that i know is there
holding hands in the park
parting with a gentle kiss
sometimes i wonder
was i not made for this?
love is a two way street
or is it something done alone
it seems really complicated really
but then again everyone wants someone of their own
nobody wants to be left out
or alone in the cold
everyone wants someone
although they may not admit
or did they ever experience love before
and just gave up getting sick of it
without even looking back giving it a second chance
but just gave up and shut the door
Love, Love, Love
something that doesn't come easy nowadays
but as a sit here watching the old couple in the park
i do hope love like that does stay
