Another birthday goes by
And Daddy still misses you
He deleted all his poems
because they were painful
But now what does he do?
He writes yet another poem for you
Maybe because you're always in my thoughts
Tearing me apart and making me beg
Mercy would have taken me the day you died

Your pain and longing really comes across to the reader (well to me) in waves, and it's a powerful.. productive muse and it really shows you have something powerful here.. Poetry wise, writing your pain out in a poem is very powerful and would make an excellent, realistic piece, something that DUP lacks in some areas..
It's up to you though Brandon, I personally would love to see some more poetry from you.. stay strong though.

I agree, it's strong feelings of pain and hurt. Did the poetry ease things last time? Humbled that you share this.

wowwww really touched. i make poems of this sort more. poetry shouldn't b bout only sex; love, n happy moments... its more beautiful and relieving to put down sad moments we cant forget. its lyk talkin to different people to feel what you feel in agony... thumbs.. beautiful
