Walls
Rain fell onto me...
Mixing with my already tear-stained cheeks
I think of things you said to me
were they true or just a rue? To get what you wanted
The walls I built around this heart taken down just for you
Did you have your fun? Playing your little game
You stole my heart and threw it to the floor
And just closed your door
Did you mock the words I said to you?
In my head all I hear is the laughter of your voice ringing out "stupid girl"
A rainy day spent in bed laying on my tear stained pillow
The rain stopped... and I got up. Determined I take control
Cry no more will I, you are not worth the salt in these tears
Walls I spent so long building around this heart will never
again be torn apart and taken down. Heart now protected and kept in the dark never to be seen again
