On the Fire
Top o' the hill
a vertical beam
a cross beam
a cross;
a sun beam
(twelve hours)
a moon beam...
another sun beam;
a man standing in
the shape of a cross
(is man the cross);
a spike...
another spike...
still another;
dark clouds form,
lightning strikes
(ignites),
the top o' the cross
an all-comsuming fire;
We are with him on the pyre.
